Responsibilities:
- Initially establish a full Test function, from creating a test strategy & approach through to hands-on and automated testing of our software by test engineers working within the product teams
- Working in a fortnightly sprint, agile environment, you will define, create and action functional, integration and NFR tests to establish the effectiveness of the developed solution, feeding results back to the Technology and Ops teams in a credible and organised manner.
- Set-up a series of automation tools to duplicate actions and processes of user and system behaviour, to make testing more efficient
- Proactively share testing knowledge with our product teams and test engineers
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Solid experience in software / UAT / quality testing and automation tool creation
- BDD, Cucumber, Selenium, Browserstack, ALM
- Working experience with testing in an Agile and Scrum environment
- Experience of creating testing / quality processes and documentation
Additional Knowledge & Skills:
- Methodical, analytical and precise – quality over quantity
- Motivated and passionate about technology, with a particular interest in testing / QA
- Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of other technology colleagues, as well as the wider team, considering the impact of technology developments
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in laymen’s terms
