Technical Software Tester - take complete ownership of complex engineering assignments

With increasing demand for technical testing specialists in various areas of the Netherlands we are looking for experienced software or technical testers with 1-5 years experience.

We are looking for someone with ambition, a clear vision and who wants to make a difference in a career with exciting times ahead

You will be expected to take complete ownership of complex engineering assignments, which consists of test automation, tool selection process, the complete design of a tool for the self build of a framework based on Open Source tools and will also deal with all aspects of performance testing and reporting.

Experience is required for programming in at least one object-oriented language (Java, C # etc.) and one or more scripting languages ??(PHP, Python, Ruby, Perl, etc.). You are familiar with test automation tools like TestNG, web driver, FitNesse and performance testing tools like The Grinder, Jmeter and BadBoy.

Good communication and analytical skills, flexibility and your "drive" to deliver high quality work are our paramount.

Experience

  • HBO / University Study
  • Living in the vicinity of the Randstad
  • Driving license B
  • Program at least one year experience in 'hands on'
  • Demonstrable knowledge of programming in one or more of these languages:
  • Knowledge of and experience with Agile / SCRUM
  • Advantage: experience with Cloud Computing, Mobile Apps, SAP, Oracle
  • Good communication skills in written and spoken (English and Dutch)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Flexibility, creativity, accuracy
